Who We Are

Hi! I’m Sarah Laine, Founder and Principal of Laine Design. I graduated from the Art Institute of Orange County with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design and have worked professionally in the industry since 2005. In that time, I gained extensive experience in commercial office interiors, hospitality and residential design projects of almost every size, style and type.

I live with my partner and two Golden Retrievers in Newport Beach, Southern California. When I’m not working, I love to spend time with the fur babies, water ski with the hubby and friends, and get my hands dirty with my new found passion, pottery. As an avid traveler and foodie, I find inspiration all over the world, and my global style reflects those findings in my work.

At Laine Design, our mission is to create a comfortable space that reflects our clients’ unique personalities. We believe the creative process should be inclusive and fun, while execution should be well planned and thoughtful. Our clients’ satisfaction throughout the entire project life-cycle is our priority. We strive to make the end product something all parties can be proud of.
